Wakulla Springs #2

Wakulla Springs - Florida State Park

Wakulla Springs State Park outside of Tallahassee FL is a great spot to wander around or take a boat tour with your camera in hand. I only had one afternoon there but could imagine going back on numerous occasions. The combination of weather conditions, time or year, wildlife, scenery, and time of day provide and endless supply of photo ops.

Time For A New Camera

Late last year I decided I wanted to find a really good point and shoot camera to use on trips and to have near at hand for unexpected photo ops with dealing with my huge camera case and the variety of lenses I use for client work. I finally decided on a Panasonic Lumix FZ-1000 and it turned out to be a perfect choice. It is fairly small and light but has a great zoom range and some amazing features that my Canon 5D does not provide.
